Anime Expo 2013 Part IV ~ Addict

Hello Everyone!

Finally onto the last part of my Anime Expo report. Geez, I've been so busy this past month. Time to catch up.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I have been to many concerts but the concert at Complex LA had to be the best one I've ever been to without a doubt! It really blew the AX show out of the water and I was glad to see David again too! ^.^

I want to personally thank my roomie Mia for helping me out with getting a badge for David so we could go to the con together on the last say, we are both very grateful. The day started rather early as I packed up all my stuff and said goodbye to my roomies one last time. It was kind of saddening to leave them but hopefully I can get to see some of them again at PMX, yes I am going after all! David and Abbie convinced me to. XD

My outfit for today, modeling my lovely new Satsuki shirt. <3

AX had begun to die down a lot  and there were not nearly as many crowds that morning. I spent the first part of the day mostly taking pictures and watching old school shoujo anime in one of video rooms before me and David finally met up back at the hotel, I was so glad to see him. After the con was over we left to get some much needed rest before the show that night. I was so excited that I did not actually think I would get any sleep at all but I did and I must say it had to be surprisingly the most restful sleep I had had that entire weekend.

A few hours later David and I left for Complex LA. We made it to the venue in plenty of time, from inside it sounded like Moon Stream and Kaya were still doing sound check. I was extremely stoked!

While in line we met many other fans as well, I got to talk to this very nice Kaya fan who had actually been following him since before Schwarz Stein; very impressive! Also in line with us were the ladies from the YouTube show "Nutty Nomads"! I watch their show frequently because they do a lot of K-pop related things in the US (K-pop is sort of a guilty pleasure of mine.) and last year they did coverage of PMX including Moon Stream's events too.

It was cool meeting them since I really enjoy their videos. They were very nice too and actually wanted to interview me and David for their show. I was kind of nervous though so I fear I may have ended up looking derpy and stupid!

And I did, fuck my life. >___________<

Finally the doors opened and we were all let in. the atmosphere of the room was very intimate and no matter where you sat or stood you would still be very close to the stage. Standing next to me were some other fans and we became friends after the show, they were a lot of fun and made the show all the more enjoyable. After being reminded again that pics and vids would not be allowed the concert began and OMG, it had not occured to me how close I actually was until Kaya emerged from the stage (dressed in his sexy black "Taboo" outfit) and came VERY close to us! It was incredible. He started off with the song "Rose Kingdom".

I already said this, but the complex LA concert was a thousand times better than AX, if that was even possible. The reason? This concert was a lot like the live house shows in Japan, especially Kaya's set. In the past, I've seen videos on You Tube of Kaya's live shows at various places like Tokyo Decadence, and I always wanted to go to one of Kaya's shows like that, so being able to have the opportunity to do that in my own country was truly amazing. Another dream crossed off my bucket list.

After “Rose Kingdom” came another favorite of mine, “Walkure”. Kaya delivered it perfectly as we all waved our fists to the music with him. When “Walkure” was over Kaya had a quick MC and then introduced the next song saying that he worked on the song with his friend Hizaki (guitarist of Versailles); he didn’t even have to announce the name for me to know what song he meant and I was right: “Vampire Requiem”!

Both "Vampire Requiem along with the next song "Silvery Dark" are kind of slow and not very upbeat. For the first time I actually had the chance to filly gaze at Kaya up close and take n all of his amazing beauty, I was in awe. Every detail of him I could see with such amazing clarity, from the blue gems at the ends of his long pearl necklaces to the lace detailing of his stockings, everything was flawless. I could also feel very vividly the emotion in Kaya's voice as he sang; I could tell he was putting all of his heart and soul into the performance. It was amazing.

I managed to get through "Silvery Dark" without crying, for that I'm proud of myself, lol. Afterward Kaya had another MC and asked (with the help of a translator) if any of us had gone to his show at AX and not surprisingly nearly everyone in the audience said yes including me. He then said that his concert at AX was more sweet and cute but tonight would have a more dark and gothic feel.

"I hope that's okay!" He said, awe.

Finally he introduced the next song, "Taboo"! My new favorite song! "Dance with me?" Kaya asked charmingly and we all cheered in agreement.

Kaya's performance of "Taboo" had to be the absolute highlight of the night for me for two main reasons; one, it was so much fun and I could tell Kaya was having fun too! His smile and energy seemed to only illuminate the party atmosphere even more. With no chairs around I could really move and dance like I wanted to. It's hard not to resist the beat of this song because like I said it's very infectious! I was lost in the music and I'm sure I was not the only one.

And two, many times during the song Kaya would move and dance around the stage in different places, letting the fans touch his hands. At one point I was so caught up in the music that I did not realize that Kaya was directly in front of me! And just as I realized it he looked right at me, smiled and then actually reached out and cupped my cheek with his free hand!! My breath was practically knocked out of me, I could not believe that had just happened! The girls next to me squealed teasingly afterward and I was left completely red in the face for the rest of the song (and evening for that matter. >_<). It was an enthralling performance but toward the end the music stopped very abruptly. Kaya was very confused to why but I admit the abruptness was kind of funny. It was a technical difficulty but they managed to fix it seconds later and Kaya finished off the song perfectly.

The next song was "Epicurean" and then "Salome". With the latter song Kaya amazed me with the way he sang and the way he moved, lots of graceful spins and waves of his hands mixed with equally as many elaborate though abrupt movements where he pulled his body this was and that in a rather complex though elegant seduction. When he sang the high note at the end of the song it practically sent chills down my spine! He pointed the mic in our direction and appeared to clearly relish our excitement and how we all screamed for him and the excitement only skyrocked when the intro to the next song began to play: "Rose Jail"!!!

A thoroughly intense and erotic song, "Rose Jail" is the one and only Kaya song I've always wanted to "experience" live and Kaya did not disappoint!" He sang and moved with such aggression and erotic power and practically demanded for our voices.

"More! More! Call my name!" He would scream to us.

I don't think I could have screamed louder but he continued to demand for more. "Do you love me? DO YOU LOVE ME?!" It was as though he had complete control over everyone watch him.

Many times Kaya would come very close to the audience again, grabbing people's hands and even kissing/biting their fingers! Another enthralling performance. Kaya ended the performance with another intense scream and pulled back from the audience, falling gracefully to his knees. The next and final song was "Chocolat", a sweet yet far cry from his previous performance. Toward the end Kaya pointed the mic toward us again and was grinning to the point of tears as we sang the lyrics back to him. "Arigato!!" So much happiness in his voice, it was the most perfect way to end his set! Kaya waved to us all and with a sweet "I love you!" left the stage. But there was little time to rest because soon afterward it was time for Moon Stream to take the stage!

What can I say about their show that I have not already said many times over? Their set was awesome and any lost energy I had returned quickly as soon as their set began. I was able to fully enjoy every song they played. When their set was over I felt like the night could not get any better but I was wrong.

After Moon Stream left the stage the audience began screaming for an encore. When they came back, Satsuki called out for Kaya and Kaya appeared on staged dressed in his Chocolat dress! Then then announced that they had worked on a collaboration for this show! How cool is that?! "I wonder which song they want to hear." Satsuki asked teasingly. We all called out our choices and the song they sang first was "Glitter Arch" with Tomo, Poel and RAANEN accompanying on their instruments.

It was such an incredible performance, Kaya ans Satsuki took turns singing the lyrics and I must say "Glitter Arch" really, REALLY suits Satsuki's voice! They seemed to be having fun with the performance too. I really enjoyed it, though by the end my arms were fully numb from waving them around; lmao! After "Glitter Arch" they performed "Romance" and again Kaya and Satsuki took turns singing. It was wonderful. Seeing two of my most favorite vocalists on the same stage together and singing together, an absolute dream come true.

But sadly like all dreams, it had to end and that was the last song of the night. Kaya and Moon Stream left the stage and I met up with David again for the autograph session which was a few minutes later. I was not nearly as nervous about meeting Kaya this time and I actually managed to speak to him a little. I told Kaya that the show was amazing and that he did a great job.

"You are so pretty!" I added at the last moment and Satsuki actually agreed with me and added "Yes, very beautiful!" much to Kaya's delight. He grinned adorably and said "Thank you!", shaking my hand. Then I got to meet Moon Stream again, they were so nice as always and Satsuki liked how I was wearing his fan shirt. All in all, an extremely satisfying evening! ^.^

Last page of my Kaya "Nocturne" photobook, Kaya signed it for me!

A gift for Amanda! :-3

We left soon after and David dropped me off at the Marriott LAX where I spent the night, I left the next day. And that was Anime Expo 2013, considering how much trouble it took for me to make it there in the first place, I must say it was a very fun weekend and I'm happy I was able to go after all. But that is the LAST TIME EVER that I go to two cons within a month's time, for the sake of my health and wallet! XD

While I did say at the beginning that I am planning on trying to go to PMX, I'm still not sure for many reasons but I won't be upset too much if I don't. I've already decided to make another trip to Cali next year to see my friends there again, when it will be I'm still not sure. My next con for certain though is Anime USA next week. I'm looking forward to going back after a 2 yer hiatus. :)

Anime Expo 2013 Part III ~ Kaleidoscope *Happy Birthday Queen Kaya!!*

Hello Everyone!

Before I continue onto Saturday, let me first say I wish Kaya a very happy birthday today! July 17th is his birthday which I guess would be today by default if you take the time difference into consideration. I hope he has a lovely and elegant day today. Happy birthday Darling! <3

Anyway so now onto Saturday, this had to be one of the best days (if not THE best!) day of the weekend. The first thing I gotta say is, three hours, three effing hours! That’s how long it took me to get dressed that day. Usually it takes me less time but I wanted to look my absolute best for Kaya so I took special care in getting ready and putting on my Ophelia dress. I really wish though I had gotten more pictures though BEFORE the heat and crowds got to me and ruined my appearance. XD But I’ve been inspired to finally do a photoshoot with this costume sometime in the next month or so before putting it up for good. I’ve decided to cosplay Kaya again next year, this time his “Salome” costume! But that’s for another entry.

I also want to thank my roomies for helping me get into my dress too and lace my boots. Oh the things I do for the love of jrockers and their beautiful outfits! XD I was the last to leave the room that day around 2pm, by that time the possibility of going to the second gyaru fashion show had become a lost cause. :( But I got a lot of imput and knowledge from going to the booths that weekend and from Abbie so now I feel more comfortable doing it in the future. ^.^

After nearly 30 minutes of stopping every few minutes for pictures (I’m not kidding) I finally made it to the con and freshened up for what would be a very special moment for me. Kaya’s autograph session was also with Moon Stream’s and it started promptly at 3pm, because I had a winning ticket at the Q&A on Thursday I would be assured an autograph and actually ended up as the VERY FIRST person in line! Behind me were this very nice mother and daughter who were also Kaya fans, they complimented my outfit and helped me calm my nerves as I was EXTREMELY nervous and afraid about meeting Kaya. When I first met him back in 2009 he was wearing his Ophelia costume and performed in it, I thought he looked so beautiful and elegant in this specific costume and that’s why I decided to cosplay it. But of course everyone knows my insecurity issues where this costume is concerned, I prayed to God Kaya would not become offended when he saw me otherwise IDK what I would do! >__________<

Through the curtain behind the autograph table I could see his silhouette and bits of his skirt through the cracks of the curtain, finally the autograph session started. Words cannot describe how nervous I was, but I was determined to keep calm no matter what! I murmured hello to him and then he said “Ah, Ophelia!” with the sweetest smile ever, I was very struck by his beauty. I felt like crying right then and there but I’m proud to say I maintained my cool the entire time while getting my poster signed and speaking to him. Of course I was not nervous at all about meeting Moon Stream again! XD

After that I found a free spot and collapsed on the ground fully overwhelmed but very happy, but I could not rest for long, I had to quickly return back to the Moon Stream/Kaya booth for the fan photo session. It was much more crowded that I thought with many people in line for Moon Stream, which made me happy. I didn’t have long to wait before I was my turn to meet Kaya again. My courage had returned and I had intended to ask Kaya if he liked my costume but before I could say anything he smiled at me again and said “Very pretty, Ophelia!” He seemed very sincere too. In that moment I felt a great flow of confidence flow through me unlike anything I ever felt before.

Now onto a little fact about me: while I try not to look completely angry or miserable when I get my picture taken, I have never ever really smiled in any picture like I really want to. This reason is because I always feel self conscious about myself and how I look and I especially feel like my smile is very ugly. I’m always worried about how I look so I can’t be truly happy which is why I never really smile in pictures like I’d like to.

Well there is a first time for everything. In a very rare moment of full self confidence in myself I decided to put on a full, true smile for this picture. And you know what? I love it! I actually think I look cute here, though not as cute as Kaya of course! XD After the pic was taken he signed it and then I actually got to hug him! It’s amazing that I managed to keep it cool and not loose it during this whole experience, but man did I want to!

As I walked out of the hall I felt one tear run down my face, only one. I could not believe that he actually liked my cosplay, I was so sure he would not like it or not even recognize it because my skin is no where near as pale as his was in the official Ophelia photos. That’s when I realized something: whenever Kaya speaks about how he does not care about the concepts of gender, race or looks, he means it truly! I always wanted to hold onto these beliefs and that is why I love Kaya so much and why I decided in the end to cosplay him. But in the past few years I hate to admit I’ve lost sight of this belief sometimes when I’m feeling really down and inadequate about myself. Hell, I practically tore my Node of Scherzo Kaya cosplay into shreds because I was so ashamed of my tanned skin and curvy figure when I tried it on after making it. Lately I’ve been trying hard to believe again in Kaya’s concept of self acceptance and being able to meet him in my costume and seeing his positive reaction, while it may seem small, really helped me a lot with my confidence. In the days since returning to Baltimore whenever I’ve felt bad about myself I’ve been recalling that moment to myself and remembering that while I am not perfect, I know I am beautiful in my own way, just like Kaya. And that’s why I’m going to make his “Salome” costume for Katsucon next year.

I doubt he’ll read this but I just want to say, thank you Kaya for helping me realize this again. And thank you for bringing out a real smile in me. I will treasure this picture forever.

Okay enough sentimental bull, back to my report! XD

I returned back to my room around the same time Abbie and some of the other roomies did. She suggested that we go to Little Tokyo that evening and I immediately said yes! I’ve always wanted to visit Little Tokyo but never had the chance/a local to help me get there. So me, her and our other roommate (I’m so sorry I forgot your name sweetie, please don’t kill me! DX) changed and took the bus there, it actually is not that far away from where we were. If I do go back to LA again in the future I really would like to go back again.

Little Tokyo is made up of mainly Japanese restraunts and specialty stores along with a little center square with pretty scenery and stone walkways. It’s a very nice place and I took many pictures, mostly of the food I ate though! XD

The window of one such Japanese restraunt. The food displayed is fake of course, but it looks very good!

We went to a cute little macaroon shop, mango my favorite flavor. Yum! :-3

The papers on the tree are most likely wishes for the Japanese holiday Tanabata, which was the next day. If you do not know the story of Tanabata you should look it up, it’s a very sweet romantic tale! <3

Soon we went into the Little Tokyo mall which had even more shops. The first one we went into was the Fairytale Boutique! I had heard of this store before, a second hand lolita and kawaii fashion shop, and I decided if I did go to Little Tokyo that I really wanted to visit. I’m glad I was able to. It’s a very cute, glittering shop with a lot of beautiful things for sale ranging from lolita clothes and accessories to dolls and wall art. Even cute kids clothes! Me and Abbie both tried on faux fur lolita caplets, they were so pretty! Sadly there was a sign on the wall that stated that photography was not allowed so I could not take any pictures while in there. But it’s okay, just know that if you are ever in Little Tokyo Fairytale Boutique is a stop you must make if you love lolita or kawaii fashion in general. You will not be disappointed! ^.^

I was glad to be able to visit a real jfashion boutique; I hope that next I can go to the Harajuku Hearts store where Chantilly dresses are officially sold. But that’s in San Francisco and an entry for another day. Next we went to the two Jungle stores, one sold a lot of cosplay, jrock and cosplay lolita items and the other sold anime, manga and some jrock items too. Both where pretty cool, I just wish we could have taken purikura in the one store that had purikura booths in it; I did not realize they would be so expensive though! >_< Oh well, maybe next time.

Finally we sat down on a bench and rested. I had gotten some takoyaki (my FAVORITE Japanese food! ^o^) and Abbie let me try this interesting Japanese sweet, I think it was called anpan but I’m not sure. It was such a nice evening but I slightly sad because tomorrow would be the last day of Anime Expo, but also slightly excited because I would also get to see David soon and go to the next Moon Stream/Kaya concert! XD

A slight repeat of my gal outfit for Friday, I wore for Saturday evening too. I had some Demonia boots on earlier but…yeah…no way in hell for walking! XD

Anime Expo 2013 Part II ~ Glitter Arch

Hello Everyone!

So now onto Friday, I got up very early that day because I wanted to be sure I got a good spot in line for the first gyaru fashion show that day and still have time to browse the dealers hall. I was very excited about that.

My first try at agejo, still need to work on the makeup aspect. What do you guys think?

I set out around noon for the dealer’s hall, my god, it was huge!!! Again at least twice the size of Oakton’s if not larger, for a moment I just stood at the door with wide eyes and a gaping mouth at how much stuff there was and how many people there were! Even though I had a list of specific booths I wanted to check out I decided to just wander at first and not even try to find them, yeah big mistake! In less than an hour I found myself completely lost and trying to find an exit. >___<

While trying to find my way out I managed to find my way to the gyaru booths: Tralala, Liz Liza, Tutuha, MA*RS and Gold’s Infinity. I got a better look at all the clothes, everything was very cute and I was surprised to find out that A LOT of Liz Liza and MA*RS stuff is very plus size friendly! One problem with lolita fashion was always trying to find brand items that could fit me but with these brands it seemed like almost everything could fit me; this will make my transition to gyaru all the more easy. I decided on a MA*RS OP (rather reasonably priced) and a Princess Melody hime necklace. The shop staffs were also very nice and they liked my outfit. Mission, to buy my first real gyaru outfit: accomplished! ^o^

After that I wandered around a bit more, there was another booth selling very cute nail sets, phone cases and deco materials but WOW they were expensive! The cheapest nail set I could find was $39.95. I would have gotten a pair but I had other purchases on my agenda that I had to get.

Soon I was lost again but as I tried to find an exit again I found my way again to the Moon Stream booth that was also selling Kaya merch too. Their staff members are always so nice and they remembered me from Anext too, Tomo was also there as well. It was my intention to only buy a new shirt and maybe a cheki or two but their manager told me that they were doing a special for AX in which I could get a cheki with Kaya if I purchased $80 of merch, yeah I was on that so fast! In the end I still got the shirt and cheki’s along with a lot of new stuff, mainly gifts for my friends back on the east coast. Yeah, I’m sure I spent well over $80 that weekend! XD

And so I bought my items and said bye to Tomo and the other staffers. I was even more excited now for the concert that night but in the meantime, I had to find a way out of the complex maze that was the AX dealers hall and soon! At about 1:40 I had managed to find an exit and was on my way to the fashion show. However it seemed as though none of the staff members knew where it was; by the time I found it at last, it was about 7 minutes past the door opening time and while that may not seem like much the stupid idiot bouncer guy at the door was adamant that neither I nor anyone else be let in after 2pm on the dot. Boooooooo! >_____< Nothing I could say could convince him to let me in so I admitted defeat and left.

I still had a lot of time before I had to get ready for the concert so I decided to walk around the con for a bit and take pictures; here are some of my favorites:

Ursula and the Dark Queen from “The Little Mermaid” and “Snow White”. I took this pic for my dear friend Mauti who is doing Ursula sometime in the future.

Panty and Stocking! Very sexy! XD

Ralph and Vanelope! I love the car; it looks just like the one in the movie. <3

Steampunk style Disney Princesses (Mulan and Merida)! These are amazingly done! I took this for Mauti too and my other friend Timeeka.

And Shirayuki has a new friend! This is a gift for Camille, I’ve taken to calling her Utena but she may want to change her name when I give it to her. XD

By 3 I was done with the con and returned to my room for a little rest before the amazing night to come. Sadly while dressing my new dress’s zipper split! >___< This was fixed though with some pins and wrapping a shawl around my shoulders. I was worried about how it looked but I surprisingly received many compliments by other people in line and there were also many gorgeously dressed fans too.

Chocolat Kaya triplets! The school boy/girl look is so adorable!

And a very pretty Jasmine You! <3

Around 7 the doors opened; I was very thrilled at how close my seat was for the show, though I didn’t get why there was seating in the first place because really who’s going to sit at a jrock concert?!  LOL! After showing many PV’s the concert started. The band CELL was first and at first I really wasn’t really feeling their music but by the second song I was beginning to get into them. I didn’t know any of the songs but the band seemed to have a lot of charm and charisma. I’m not sure which song this was but at one point the vocalist was singing to what appeared to be a fake severed bloody head and even kissed it! Also at the start of their set they played a PV that better explained the “story” behind CELL’s music and it was rather interesting to say the least. By the end of their set I was a full fan! I just wish I could have gotten a CD from them. After their set was Moon Stream, now things were beginning to get good! :-D

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Right before their set they showed a few of Satsuki’s PV’s, this was my first time seeing the PV’s for “Inside” and “Fate” in full and I really liked them, but I really do want to see a PV for “Twilight!” ;O;

Of course I thoroughly enjoyed Moon Stream’s set; their new support drummer RAANEN seems pretty awesome too! However I’m ashamed to admit it, but when they performed “Inside”, I actually did end up crying. All other times I’ve heard this song performed before I managed to keep it together and not shed a single tear, but this time I could not help myself. The way Satsuki delivered it this time was just too much for my heartstrings, I must say it has to be probably the best performance I’ve ever heard Satsuki give and just saying it was amazing does not give it justice. More like incredible. At the end of the song Satsuki pressed to his heart and said “This is my inside, of my heart.” I lost it then. While I was crying, it was not because I was sad, I was enthralled. Thank you Moon Stream for making me feel this. <3

Then they performed their newest song from Anime Next, and after that (I think) “After Glow”. The latter song is such a sweet and uplifting song and I love the hand movements that go along with it. Also, the band appeared to be having such a great time with the music and I loved their smiles! I think this is one of the reasons I like Moon Stream so much, in addition to them all being such wonderful musicians, they also seem to be good friends and it really shows on stage. At one point Satsuki put his arms around Poel and Tomo briefly and I thought that was so cute! But sadly after that there was only one more song left. Satsuki said it made him sad that there was only one song left but after that Kaya would be next. “So beautiful.” He said, yes I could not agree more! ^O^

The last song was another favorite, “Twilight”. A great way to end off a great set from Moon Stream. While I was slightly saddened that there were not more songs I was thrilled because Kaya would be coming out soon! And just like that, before I could say “Chocolat”, the PV for that song began to play on the big screen! *o* Afterward Kaya came on screen in what appeared to be a prerecorded comment video. He said that he would be performing next and for everyone to have a great time, “Let’s enjoy!” Oh, that smile of his all but melted my heart! After a remix of “Chocolat” played then the actual intro to that song began and Kaya appeared fully dressed in that lovely cream colored outfit from the PV looking like a beautifully decadent human cake, to put it lightly! Gorgeous as always. XD

His concert was wonderful, all that I dreamed and more. While not as visually appealing as AUSA 2009 (he had his full troupe of dancers then and did several dress changes too) it was certainly very exciting and thoroughly amazing. Kaya really didn’t really need any dancers or anything else to put on a great show, just his amazing stage presence was enough and I’m certain without a doubt in my mind that there was not a single person who left the concert that night with without a smile on their face!

Kaya’s movements were very elegant and graceful and his voice was absolutely on point too. Many times he would call out to the audience beckoning for us to scream and call out his name. “Do you love me?” He would ask slyly and then say again “Can’t hear you, do you love me?!” And then laugh and say “I love you!” So adorable! ;O; I also adored how he would dance and twirl around in his beautiful dress, the skirt of it bobbing and swaying oh so gracefully as he moved. For that moment Kaya practically owned the stage, along with the hearts of every person in the audience. And he knew it too!

The next two songs were two newer songs called "Marionette" and "Copelia" with the theme of dolls. This was actually my first time hearing both songs in their entierty and I really enjoyed both, especially "Marionette" After both songs he said that he would perform a sad love song, “Ophelia”! That song is one of my absolute favorites of Kaya and the song I made my cosplay based on. Hearing that song made me very happy but then after that song was an even sadder ballad called “Silvery Dark”. For that song I decided to sit in my seat and enjoy the beautiful, though heart wrenching song. Toward the end I felt like crying again but I pinched myself and told myself that once for a concert was well enough.

When that song was over Kaya had a quick MC where he mentioned (with help of a translator) that it had been 5 years since he was last in California and asked if anyone saw him then. Obviously he meant PMX so I raised my hand enthusiastically along with a few others, “Oh really? Thank you!” He replied, looking truly happy. Also he said this was his first time wearing the cream colored “Chocolat” outfit overseas, “Kawaii? Cute? Thank you I know!” ;;>///////////< and finally he introduced the next song, his latest single to be released at the end of this very month! An infections and decadent dance track called “Taboo”!

I really like “Taboo”, it reminded me of some of his Schwarz Stein songs, had kind of a dark, somewhat erotic feel to it but also very catchy and infectiously fun. A perfectly fitting song for Kaya! Kaya beckoned us to dance with him and move out bodies but sadly I could only dance so much like I really wanted to with so many chairs around. Same problem with the next song “Epicurean” which is also a very upbeat dance tune. But still a lot of fun! The next song after that was "Kasha ~ Shining Flowers" another energetic song. Each time Kaya would call out "Jump!" I jumped up as high as I could, by the time all three songs above were done I was back in my seat thoroughly breathless and euphoric. OMG Kaya has so much energy, and really knows how to enthrall energy into others too! XD

The last song was “Glitter Arch” which is for sure my absolute favorite Kaya song out of them all! It is so uplifting and has such positive lyrics as well. My energy returned and I sang along to the lyrics along with him and I don't think I was alone. Nearly everyone in the room joined in with the waving of the arms and I don’t think Kaya ever stopped smiling even once; it was very moving and I could tell he was very happy to the point of tears. I was too. <3

Sadly that was the last song of the night. Kaya waved to us all and blew some kisses to the stage, thanking us all wholeheartedly and leaving us with a sweet “I love you!” Fans immediately began chanting for an encore and this continued for nearly 10 minutes before an AX staff member said there would be no encore and that we had to leave. Boooooo! >____< I was very sad about the concert ending, it was like waking up from the most amazing dream yet it was not a dream. It was real. I really just saw Kaya perform, after 4 years. Making it to AX had been quite a hassle in the past few weeks however when Kaya performed “Glitter Arch” that night I knew in my heart that it was all worth it, worth it if for just this one show, this one song, this one moment! I that instant I could not have been happier!

And so I left, while leaving I noticed staff members promoting another concert Kaya and Moon Stream would be having on Sunday! I had already made plans to go already though but I was really looking forward to another show now! XD Finally I met up with my new friend that I had met in line for the show and we went to AX Last Comic Standing. And that was Friday. Such a perfect day it was! ^o^

Anime Expo 2013 Part I ~ Transmigration

*NOTE*
YES I'm naming this report after my favorite Kaya songs, bite me! XD

Hello Everyone!

Well I made it. Against all odds I made it; and I could not be happier! Could not be more satisfied with how everything worked out in the end. This past weekend was practically euphoric.

Since 2009 I’ve always wished to go to Anime Expo but due to it always being so close to Otakon, I never really tried to go. However when it was announced that Kaya was going to be in attendance this year I knew that somehow I had to be there! I had been casually following Kaya’s music since 2006 but it wasn’t until I saw him at PMX 2008 with a bunch of other friends that I really became a fan.

I’ve already mentioned this before but Kaya is one of my hugest inspirations because in addition to being very talented and beautiful, I admire how much confidence he seems to have in himself and how he can so easily be comfortable with himself and make people love him so much. Kaya could melt the heart of even the most cold, homophobic ass pansy I’m certain about that! XD

Don't know much about Kaya? Watch this PV and educate yourself! <3

Kaya was the main reason I went to Anime Expo but there were many other great things going on that weekend too, including Moon Stream’s presence (always great seeing Tomo and Satsuki! <3), bands CELL and Porno Graffiti (they were also pretty awesome) and also 2 gyaru fashion shows on Friday and Saturday. I’m beginning to get more into gyaru fashion now and one of my roommates was also a gyaru too! ^.^ I tried agejo for the first time at Anime Expo too but I will get to that in a little bit.

But I guess I will start as I always do, with the beginning Thursday morning.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Ready to go, Shirayuki-chan? <3

No sleep Wednesday night as always, as if that was even an option! The only serious gripe I had all weekend was the fact I had to fly another airline other than Southwest Airlines this time around, never again! >___< Between my first flight being slightly delayed and the fact I had to wait for another person to give up their spot on the plane, I nearly missed my transfer flight to LA from Philadelphia but I thank God that I made it. In Philly, I was seated next to a bunch of other people also going to Anime Expo; that was nice and I had some people to talk to for part of the flight. I was in high spirits, eager to see what awaited me in Lost Angeles.

It’s always tiring going to California, though the flight is technically 5 hours long I was actually going back in time by 3 hours because of the difference between EST and PST making it feel more like 8 hours and making me feel very exhausted by the time we landed. My energy returned though when I got my bags and boarded my shuttle. While on my way to the hotel, I passed by the Square Enix building and the LA Convention Center itself; I was shocked. It’s nearly 3 times the size of Otakon, maybe even larger! I was slightly afraid of what overwhelming experience I had gotten myself into but also very excited too!

Made it to my hotel! ^.^

Finally I got to my hotel, met up with my roommates; I really enjoyed the company of all my roommates this time, especially my newest friend Abbie! <3 She came to the room much later and quickly struck an conversation with me, she’s so nice and had me cracking up all Saturday evening too! XD I’m also glad to have a friend now who seems to know a lot about gyaru style now that I’m getting more seriously into it.

In any case, Kaya’s first autograph session was nearly an hour away but something in me knew I would not make it in time because I still needed to get my badge. So I decided to keep my Kaya cosplay for Saturday and did lolita for the evening.

Ready to go!

The line of doom! >___<

I was right about missing the autograph session, ah well. I was lucky that I managed to catch the line just as it was “dying down” but I was still there for nearly 2 hours, but at least it moved quickly and the process to get my badge was quick too; I still had about 30 minutes before Kaya’s panel.

My badge!

When I got to his panel I was given a ticket with a number on it. I didn't know what it meant but then one of the staffers explained to us all that the tickets were for “autograph vouchers”, if we got a ticket with one of the winning numbers on it, we would get a ticket for a guaranteed autograph with Kaya on Saturday. The panel then started, first Moon Stream was announced Tomo and Satsuki appeared. I didn't know they would be there but it made me happy either way. Then Kaya was announced and my heart nearly stopped. He was wearing his newest outfit, all black and leather reminding me of something from his days with Schwarz Stein, along with his signature winning smile. Oh, he looked so gorgeous and very sexy! *o*

I wanted to ask Kaya a very specific question but I was overrun with fear and anxiousness so I just decided to enjoy the questions and answers, which were all pretty interesting and some very funny! Many times I was simply taken by Kaya’s smile and laugh which is…very distinct! Anyone who has heard it knows what I mean! XD I do wish I could have asked a question though but it’s okay. If had gotten the chance though, I would want to know what is Kaya’s secret to self confidence and being as beautiful as he is inside and out. I’d also like to know what other historical heroine’s he’d like to sing about in future music but honestly I’d probably ask the former rather than the latter.

In any case, when the panel was over the winning ticket numbers were posted; I had one of the winning tickets after all! This meant that I was surely going to meet Kaya on Saturday! I was both nervous and happy all at the same time, mostly happy! XD I was really looking forward to that day along with Friday, the day of the concert.

The night was still young and I wanted to explore the con a bit more but I was tired and still jet-lagged. So after the panel I decided to return to my room for the night. The last thing I did that night was watch the fireworks with some of my roommates for the 4th of July, and that was Thursday. It’s a wonder I managed to get any sleep that night because I was so excited about the next day to come!

My outfit on Thursday, I love my new Farah wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs! <3

Anime Next 2013 Part III ~ Sunday and Anime Expo prelude

Hello Everyone!

Well I know I have been slow to post the last part of my Anime Next report, but there is a reason for this.

Back in May, like not even 3 weeks before Anime Next, it was announced that Moon Stream would be at Anime Expo in Los Angeles ALONG WITH KAYA! For a while it seemed that I would not even be going to Anime Next because it’s all the way in Cali, I had made no financial plans for returning to the west coast at all this year, and Southwest Rewards points failed to help me this time.

But I was determined to go, mostly for Kaya even though Moon Stream is obviously a huge bonus. They will be performing together and this alone is a dream come true for me, especially since I could not fly all the way to Europe for Kaya and Satsuki’s coupling tour back in 2012!

However I had already made promises to my friends that we would go to Anime Next and I had already made financial commitments to it.  Two cons on the two complete opposite coasts of the country less than a month a part seemed like a crazy suicide mission. But still, I was determined to go and despite so many near failures, after everything possible going wrong happening, against all possible odds, I will be flying to LA tomorrow morning. For a while I had mostly been keeping this to myself and didn’t want to mention it on my blog until I was 100% sure this was happening in order to avoid having to write a very disappointing entry about not being able to go. Especially since Anime Expo would be mentioned in the third part of my Anime Next report.

My flight is booked, hotel booked, tickets bought and more. I am ready fully for Anime Expo. I am looking forward to tomorrow. And now that my going is fully confirmed I can write this last part of my Anime Next report without fear of jinxing myself! XD

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

After arriving to the convention center, wearing my new Honey dress! :-D

Sunday was another rather quiet day with not much of interest going on until much later. I took a lot of pictures of various cosplayers (which are on my facebook and tumblr now) and went to one panel but that is about it. At around 11am me and Amanda went to the dealers room again and saw that Tomo and Satsuki were at the Moon Stream booth again so we decided to go say hi (and buy more chekis! XD)

It was somewhat crowded though but we managed through. I mentioned to Satsuki how last year at their Q&A at PMX, I had asked if they would ever consider performing with Kaya in the US. Their attendance at Anime Expo had just recently been announced and I told him how happy it made me. Satsuki asked if I would come to LA and when I said I would he thanked me and said “Good.” In my mind I was praying that I would somehow make a way to actually go but I was very happy with myself at that moment because before then I never could manage to speak to him more beyond a few words without becoming tongue tied, red and nervous let alone have a full, brief conversation! I was proud of myself and it shows that I am becoming more comfortable with myself and less anxiety ridden around people who I feel are better than me in some way shape or form. I hope I can experience even more of this when I go to Anime Expo and in the future in general.

Soon it was time for guest autograph sessions. First were voice actors, then fashion designers, and finally Moon Stream. I got autographs from Masumi, Saki and Isobe-sama first, I bought Masumi and Saki jeweled pillboxes as gifts that I had made. Amanda and Thomas then joined me for Moon Stream’s autograph session. I was glad Thomas was getting more into their music because I was slightly worried he may feel slightly left out being around us girls all weekend and hearing us talk of nothing but frills and jrock and making inside jokes! XD He decided to join me and Amanda for Satsuki’s Gomi Fantasia project soon after the autograph session.

We were the first ones at the panel room but soon we were joined by many other fans. Around 2:30 we were let in, Satsuki spoke briefly about the Gomi Fantasia Project in Japan and the work he does with them; basically picking up litter and trash in Tokyo to make the city more beautiful and every now ant then they have contests. Satsuki had posted about the Gomi Fantasia Project on his facebook several times before and earlier this year and last, asked fans on facebook all around the world to send pictures of them picking up trash which would all be put together to create a mosaic picture of him. This time we would go outside near the back of the convention center for about 30 minutes and pick up trash with him and the other band members.

So we all went outside, were paired off with different members, and began. Thomas took many pictures from this event and I’ll share the best of them here! :-3

Right before we began. The band members explain what we were going to do. Me and Thomas went in Tomo’s direction and Amanda in Satsuki’s direction.

Poel!! <3

Random pic of me Thomas took as I was picking up a tore up brown paper bag. XD

Tomo and Takaya in the distance.

Soon I decided to go the other way and find Amanda. We followed behind Satsuki’s group for a bit as they went further on the other side of the convention center.

This moss bog we found on the other side. Satsuki thought it was very pretty but there was some trash sticking out by the edge. Sadly no one could reach and get it without falling in. ><

Afterward we all came back to where we originally began and put all the trash together in 4 bags, Thomas was one of the last to come back and he had found a big chunk of old cardboard which was added to the trash we all collected. Then we all took a group picture together for Satsuki’s facebook and blog. That is where I found this pic below~

Yay!!! ^O^

It was such a fun event and I am very happy I was able to participate in it. This is one of the reason’s I admire Satsuki so much and not just because of his looks, he has such a great love for beauty like myself and strives for a more beautiful world whether it be through picking up trash or through making beautiful music, illuminating the hearts and lives of all whom hear it. I really do hope to be more like him and work hard to make my world a beautiful place as well.

That was the last event of the day before another long ride back to Baltimore, we dropped Camille off home and on Monday morning said goodbye to Amanda as she went back to PA. I was so sad to see her go but hopefully I can get to see her again soon. I hope she can come to AWA for my birthday! <3

My assorted goodies from Anime Next; my Honey dress, macaroon necklace, Usakumya chain (gift for my friend Kitty), signed picture of Moon Stream and 3 Satsuki cheki’s! <3

And that was Anime Next 2013, all in all it was a pretty fun weekend and I’m glad I went even though I was risking not going to Anime Expo by doing so. Tomorrow is Anime Expo and I shall by flying out very early tomorrow morning for LA, I will not be posting anymore until after I return from Cali next Tuesday.

Also I’m so excited and happy to be seeing Kaya again after 4 years. I have not seen him since Anime USA 2009. I really hope he likes my Ophelia cosplay! Yes, I will be bringing it along with me for one last wear, but as of late I have been feeling strangely confident and comfortable with my body so I am not as anxiety ridden about wearing it again as I have been in the past. I hope this confidence stays with me as I travel and I look forward to whatever adventures await me there.

Anime Next 2013 Part II ~ Friday evening and Saturday; includes more video!

Hello Everyone!

And now to continue with Friday evening! We had been told that lining up for the Moon Stream concert would not begin until 30 minutes before showtime, I had actually tried to line up line 90 minutes before but I was shooed away by staffers. So I decided to meet up with Thomas for dinner together and by the time we were done it was about 45 minutes before the show so we met up with the girls and got ready for the concert.

Yeah….that whole 30 minute’s thing was a fat ass LIE! By the time we were all together the line was nearly wrapped around the dealer’s hall and pouring into the rest of the exhibit center!  One of many screw over’s we would have to deal with that weekend. We were near the back of the line completely. >___< Despite this, it did make me very happy to see so many people wanting to see Moon Stream. I had already had the privilege of being in the front of both their shows at PMX already and such a talented bunch deserves as many people possible to come and see them perform. But I was still a little bit sour about not being in the front this time though; don’t get it twisted, lmao. While waiting we saw Satsuki, Tomo, Poel and Takaya pass us by occasionally. We waved to them but I don’t think they saw us. XD

In any case, the doors opened at 9 on the dot and we all filed into the concert space. Despite my rather sour spot in the back I actually managed to get a spot at the very front on the very far left closest to Poel, not very close to Tomo and Satsuki but close enough to take very adequate video! <3

My uploaded video from youtube of the show from were I was standing. All things considered, I think it came out very well.

The concert was awesome and very fun, as always; Moon Stream really knows how to make the audience pumped, enthralled and begging for more. I was close to one of the con staff on the other side of the bars and she seemed to really be enjoying the music too. Even BABY designers Masumi and Saki came to see the show. (I saw them sitting not to far behind me right before and after the show.)

They played a lot of the newer songs off of Satsuki’s album “Luminous”; my favorite songs are “Twilight” (3:52) and “Inside” (6:10). With “Inside”, I was very close to crying several times during the song because Satsuki had so much emotion and feeling when he performed this song that it seemed like he really was in pain/crying. It moved me considerably and touched my heart. I felt a sense of overwhelming sadness mixed with a strange sense of joy and hope. It was weird but not bad at all. After the song was over I had to pinch myself a few times to keep myself from crying. Especially since the next song was the cheery and uplifting “Innocent” (7:25).

After a few more songs the band left the stage. The chants for an encore started immediately and Moon Stream answered our calls. They returned all wearing a new style of Moon Stream shirts I had not seen before. Strange as it seemed I actually enjoyed the encore more than the main set. They played “Awake” and then “Pray for the Sun”. During that song one of the bands staff said something in my ear about the next song that I did not hear fully. I soon realized what she was saying. Satsuki then announced that they would now perform a brand new, original Moon Stream song for the first time! I am 99.999% sure the song was called “Destruction” but if I’m wrong somebody please feel free to correct me.

The new song was amazing, powerful, and very very hot! :-O Satsuki was so killer sexy and had such power in his voice that it sent chills down my spine several times. It was a very hot performance that just got hotter at the end! A great way to end a great show.

I didn’t take many pics this time, but here is a great shot of Poel I took early in the show. <3

Sadly there was no autograph session afterward so I just met up with my friends again and we drove back to the hotel. By this time the rain had stopped and the next day gave way to beautiful weather that would stay for the remainder of the weekend; much to all of our relief and happiness.

Saturday was rather quiet surprisingly, besides the fashion show and Q&A not much happened. The day started with a nice breakfast at the hotel and then we all got dolled up and headed down to the con. Me and Amanda went to the BABY/AATP booth and I bought a cute little brown Usakumya keychain to compliment my bag. I also got my photo taken by one of the staffers for their blog. ^.^ Soon enough we got ready to line up for the fashion show.

Amanda and another cute lolita we met in the line. <3

We had a feeling they would start lineup for the fashion show sooner than they said and we were right. We managed to get a good spot though and then we were selected to sit in the very front by press because of our lolita clothes, that was pretty awesome. XD

The fashion show was pretty great. I did feel a tad bit sad though because even though I applied to be a model for both Mint Neko and BTSSB/AATP I was not accepted as always. I have decided to give up on wanting to model for brand fashion shows. I know I will never be good enough to grace the runway for a high up Japanese brand, I’m not speaking from a depressive state I’m just being realistic. Even if I loose weight and even if people say that I’m beautiful there is still a certain type of look and shape I will always have that contradicts the image most Jfashion brands want to show. It’s not their fault, it’s mine; but there is no need to feel sad about it any longer, just try to learn to be happy with myself despite it all, which I will.

In any case, Mint Neko was the first brand presented. Their clothes are actually really cute and have a kind of playful feel to them. I love the cat imagery! :-3 Amanda took some great video of the fashion show that I will post below:

Afterward there was a Q&A with Mint Neko and then BTSSB/AATP were presented. Tomo and Satsuki modeled prince style from AATP again and they both looked so handsome and dashing! Tomo pulled a white rose from under his sleeve in some kind of slight-of-hand that I thought was really cute. He would not throw it into the audience though, such a tease! ;-) Here is Amanda’s video of the BTSSB/AATP part of the show:

Also some random pics of my own that I took~

Tomo san! Looking exquisite as the Mad Hatter! <3

I enjoyed the fashion show, despite my slight feelings of inferiority. But I wasn’t feeling well and could not stay for the Q&A with the designers. We went back to the hotel and I changed into a simple but elegant BABY JSK for the evening, we went to a few panels and took more pics and soon it was time to line up for Moon Stream’s Q&A. Once again there was confusion on when and where the line would start which ended up with us waiting OUTSIDE the hotel for nearly an hour before they finally let us in for the panel about 10 minutes late.

The panel was very fun and very silly; the first question was what made Satsuki and Tomo want to make a band together. Either Satsuki or Tomo (forgot which) replied “We are NOT gay!” and the whole room erupted in laughter! Geez guys stop teasing us, I don’t think anyone was thinking that anyway! >____<

In any case they told the story of how back in Anime Next 2008 Satsuki was homesick and really wanted Japanese food so a friend introduced him to Tomo. Since then they have been friends and performed together for the first time at Onicon 2009. But then…Tomo went on about how during “Pray for the Sun” the previous night Satsuki kissed him on the cheek and how he was “ready to be taken” cause it looked like he wanted to do more, much to everyone’s delight and laughter. I was just shaking my head in irony but it was all in good fun. XD

Some other questions included things like their favorite artists, favorite anime, whom would they like to collaborate with, etc. Tomo showed his special “dance” that he likes to do right before shows and also Satsuki and Tomo both sang “Happy Birthday” to a lucky girl in the audience who was celebrating her birthday. Amanda asked what advice Satsuki had for an aspiring singer, but sadly I don’t remember what he said. >___<

At the end of the panel Satsuki told us about his “Gomi Fantasia Project” event the next day where he and the other band members would pick up trash around the convention and with other con attendees. He asked us to all come and help make Anime Next beautiful and litter-less. I will talk about that in my next entry! <3

Anime Next 2013 Part I ~ Rainy Roadtrip and meeting Moon Stream again

Hello Everyone!

So it’s been a week exactly since Anime Next and now it’s time for me to blog about it! Post con crud hit me extremely early this time (literally less than an hour after leaving on Sunday!) but I am feeling 100% better now. The weekend was pretty fun however the con itself was not so much due to the constant miscommunications between us and the con staff. It was ridiculous and rather frustrating.

Also personal problems during the con also dampened my fun a bit; but not by much. All in all I had a pretty awesome time. I now know that my self esteem is improving. The two best things about the weekend were seeing Satsuki and Moon Stream again (of course!) and also being around 3 of my most awesome friends Amanda, Thomas and Camille. One of my anxieties is always the possibility of being alone at cons because recent drama has greatly reduced the number of friends/people I trust not to scorn me. But with these three I was never alone and, God, SOOOOOOOOO many inside jokes were made this time around! Even more than at PMX! XD

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

When I started my new job that Monday, I was very great full to my new boss for allowing me to have off for Anime Next, which was a slight worry of mine when I got the job the weekend before. I rushed through work on Thursday and went straight to the bus station where Amanda was waiting for me. We went to my house and from there Thomas got us and then Camille.

Thursday night was nothing less than a party for us all. We ate pizza and shrimp and watched “Wreck it Ralph”, later I helped Amanda learn the words to “Inside”. Even back when we were planning on going to Izumicon, Amanda had told me that she really wanted to sing a song for Satsuki when she met him. She has such a lovely voice! Afterward we went to bed and got ready for a long ride to New Jersey in the morning.

My alpaca Shirayuki-chan holding my Satsuki album “Luminous” ready to hit the road!

Going over the bridge between Delaware and New Jersey. Scary!! O.o

It took about 3 hours to get there; the con was finally in full swing by the time we arrived to our hotel. We had a very nice suite with a separate room all of our own and our roomies were also pretty cool. Sadly it was pouring rain all day so we had to drive from the hotel to the con to avoid being drenched.

No lolita that day, this really isn’t any type of jfashion actually. Just generally cute. XD

After getting are badges we went straight to the dealers hall. Kincs designer Mint Neko was one of the fashion guests at Anext this year so we went first to the h.Naoto booth which was right by the door. Amanda tried on some Mint Neko tops with help from the staffers and Mint and me and Camille made Thomas our human mannequin by trying on different clothes on him, Sixh clothes and even dresses from FRILL just for kicks! XD  As for me, I chose to buy an Honey dress; I’m sad that that brand is being discontinued but I’m glad I was able to find a piece before they all went away. And best of all, it fit me very well! I’m not sure if I lost weight or not but the fit was very good, I love my new dress! <3

Camille went off on her own and the rest of us went on to the Moon Stream booth. All the members were there and I and Amanda were immediately slapped hard with nervousness! Ugh!! After a few minutes she remembered the lyrics she had practiced and we both worked up the balls to go to the booth. I had intended to record the whole scene on the down low but I became too anxious and forgot! FAIL on my part! XD

She went to get Satsuki’s attention and I got to briefly speak to Tomo. I gave him the constellation necklace I had bought for him as a gift. He was very happy with it. Then Amanda sang “Inside” for Satsuki, he smiled and said “Ah, sugoi! Very good! Thank you!” Amanda then got a picture with him. My heart was overflowing with happiness for her; I knew how much this meant to her. And just when I thought things could not be better, Satsuki said he remembered me from PMX! I did not think he actually would but he did! I gave him a necklace with an image of a beautiful nebula galaxy for his gift, he said it was “sugoi” and put it on right away, that made me very happy. I then got to take a picture with him too.

Much less akward and nerve wraking than at PMX. He’s wearing my gift in this picture! ^o^

We said goodbye to Moon Stream and promised to go to the concert that night. Then we went to brose the dealers hall more, our last stop was the BABY booth where Masumi and fellow designer Saki Tachibana were. (I think this was her first time in the US, certainly not Masumi’s first) I modeled some AATP items on Thomas to see what would look best on him for when he starts prince style. I still want to somehow find those outfits Tomo and Satsuki were wearing at PMX.

Evening fell upon the con soon enough and the dealers hall closed. Me and Thomas spent the rest of the day taking pics of cosplayers and Amanda and Camille went to the game room. We would all meet up again soon enough for the Moon Stream concert, which I will talk about more in my next post! In the meantime, enjoy this vlog Amanda made for the first day of the con. Please subscribe to her youtube too for more awesome vids about cons, jfashion and jrock, and more! Also check out her etsy “Panda Fuzz” too for adorable pretties. I come on around 1:55.
